I m interested in the relation of synthetic images, produced by capitalistic purpose such as comercial characters and symbols in addition with subjectiv experience of body. Laurie Anderson wrote in „the nerv bible“ about her project in public space. She lay down, sleeping in different spaces and wrote later about her dreams. Her narrated dreams refer to the specific environments: “the dream before“. Laurie Anderson is talking about the “real space”. In the project “sequence of a sleeper” I would define my position of “the real” as following: “the beach in a Tv soap may be as real as the real beach”. The sub-conscious does not distinguish between film and the so called REAL .

the sleeper stands for a identity that is not awake. A passiv female body with an working (in motion) subconscious. I have constructed a fictional narration which is a montage of comercials, films and subjective camera. Me as the producer of the video plays the rhole of the subconcious constructing a sequence of a possible dream. I investigate on the predetermination (by comercial and filmpropaganda) of the socalled “subjectivity”.
